Psychotherapist

Justyna Lewicka is a psychologist and psychotherapist working with adults, couples, and families. She holds a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Warsaw and a postgraduate degree in psychological support for the development of children and adolescents with developmental difficulties from the University of Wrocław.

She is a graduate of the accredited Psychotherapy Course at the Wrocław Institute of Psychotherapy, certified by the Scientific Section of Psychotherapy of the Polish Psychiatric Association and the Psychotherapy Section of the Polish Psychological Association. She systematically develops her professional competences by participating in numerous training courses and professional development programs, including the Advanced School of Contemporary Psychodynamic Psychotherapy at the Psychoeducation Laboratory, training in Mentalization Based Treatment (MBT), seminars on psychopathology within the psychoanalytic approach, and courses in systemic individual and family therapy. She is currently studying at the School of Psychotherapy for People with Addiction Problems at the Psychoeducation Laboratory in Warsaw.

She gained professional experience in numerous mental health facilities, psychological and psychiatric counseling centers, and psychotherapy centers in Wrocław and Lower Silesia. She has worked at, among others, the Lower Silesian Psychotherapy Center, the Lower Silesian Institute of Mental Health, the PERSONA Medical and Psychological Clinic, and the Provita Specialist Preventive and Treatment Center. She is currently affiliated with the Mental Health Center in Wrocław, where she provides individual psychotherapy and works with couples and families. She also expanded her clinical experience during an internship at the Day Psychiatry Ward of the Lower Silesian Mental Health Center.

In her therapeutic work, she primarily utilizes psychodynamic and systemic approaches, integrating them with elements of mentalization-based therapy. She places particular emphasis on understanding the patient’s individual history, their relationships, and the psychological mechanisms that influence their current difficulties. Her work is based on regular supervision and current clinical knowledge.

In her practice, she specializes in treating depression, anxiety, personality disorders, mood disorders, and emotional regulation difficulties. She supports individuals struggling with low self-esteem, chronic stress, relationship crises, and family difficulties. She also assists those experiencing suffering, anger, sadness, and professional challenges.

In her work with patients, she values ​​not only professional integrity but also attentiveness to others, their pace, and a willingness to change. She strives to create a safe, trusting therapeutic relationship in which it is possible to jointly examine difficult experiences and explore new ways of coping.

Outside of work, she spends her time with a good book or movie and loves traveling.
