Ms. Anna Wołyniec graduated with a clinical psychology degree from the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities in Wrocław and completed postgraduate studies in pedagogy. She also completed a first-cycle course in Moreno’s psychodrama and is a certified Social Skills Trainer (TUS).
She is currently undergoing comprehensive, EAGT-accredited (European Association for Gestalt Psychotherapy) Gestalt psychotherapy training at the Wrocław branch of the Gestalt Psychotherapy School in Warsaw, which prepares her to obtain a psychotherapist certificate.
Her work is regularly supervised, ensuring its quality and ethical nature.
She gained professional experience, among others, in a therapeutic kindergarten for children on the autism spectrum and has been working at the Milicz Medical Center for several years – first in the detoxification ward and currently in the inpatient psychiatric ward for women.
She has been committed to community psychiatry since the beginning of her career. She works at the Lower Silesian Association of Active Rehabilitation ART (DolsarART), where she supports individuals experiencing mental illness. She coordinates the ART Rehabilitation and Art Studio – a space for creative development, integration, and relationship building.
In her work, she is guided by the principles of Gestalt therapy, which assumes that every person has the resources and potential for growth and change – provided they find themselves in an environment full of acceptance, mindfulness and authentic contact.
In the therapeutic relationship, it is important for her to create a safe space in which the person can experience themselves fully – with their emotions, needs and difficulties, but also with strength and agency.
She is committed to building relationships based on trust, openness, and mutual respect. She embraces a holistic approach, taking into account the person’s body, emotions, thoughts, and relationships with their surroundings. She works in the “here and now” spirit, which means she examines the current state of the individual—what emotions they are experiencing, what needs are unmet, what moves them, and what holds them back.
Privately, she loves dogs, dancing, traveling and mountain hiking!
